COMMUNITEASE
In the wake of our most recent uprising, a few of us Black Bay Area Burlesque Entertainers came together in various forms of artivism.
From the debut of this Black Pussy Power, we were able to pay all 6 artists & 2 assistants $200 each. As the video came into demand we then donated $200 to the African American Arts & Culture Complex and seeded a BIPOC Baylesque Fund with $200 (which now holds over $1400) that was then invested in stocks.
These efforts have goals of working towards something resembling generational wealth within our BIPOC Burlesque Community.
Most Recent, #cycloneenterprises had the pleasure of being part of Mayor @londonbreed #glitterati Black Excellence New New Year’s Eve at @saintjosephsartsfoundation what a joy and honor it is to meet and work with @martinluthermccoy @msryannicole @omegarae @thejazzthug @kevchoice @veronica_blair_aerialist And more!
A very special thank you to @darkgardencorsetry @tyraimprint @thewondertwin @mgbowtie @aaaculturecomplex ✊🏽❤️🖤💚
